Environmental Consultancy
Environmental audits for the industry record all consumption data right down to individual electrical and heat-related units that consume energy and indicate potential savings in comparison to state-of-the-art technology. When undertaking diagnostic work on domestic buildings (flats, houses) and industrial premises, critical points in the structure of the building such as heat bridges can be identified using infrared measuring techniques.
Environmental consulting involves inspecting buildings or processes in their entirety to ascertain their condition in respect of economic efficiency, environmental acceptance and demand. Advice is then given as to potential optimization and improvement.
Advice on energy given to private households analyses the economic efficiency of heat insulation measures, new heating systems and the use of renewable energy. Two pilot projects for house heating one with a cogenerating unit 22 kWel and one with geothermal power were success- fully installed at BTB office in Leonberg (Germany) and Prag (Czech Republic).
